Mom of two, registered nurse, married most days. (Ask me on the wrong day and I will deny it!) Started on Copaxone, which I stopped due to reactions. Went to Rebif, which was tougher side effects, so we are going to try Copaxone again, fingers crossed!

lol...loved your comment about not being nice..grin..and yes you can have the same day surgery and teeth..grin..that was my concern..i did not want to walk around without teeth for two weeks...lol...i woke up from surgery with the dentures already in my mouth..smile...after about three to four weeks..i was eating steak...grin... hugs heather

Support Groups
Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Hi. Just "officially" diagnosed this week, after a year of testing and some flare ups, lots of no specific stuff. Optic neuritis kind of tipped the scale, so here I am. Not on treatment yet, just finished steroids again, so we start in a few weeks. Unsure about alot. Freakin just a little!
Treatments
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- too early to tell, but I am determined to maintain
- Solumedrol Working / Worked
- Worked last time, not done ye this round, but not seeing much help yet.
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- So far I am very pleased. The sites do itch and get lumps, but I do not have any systemic side effects, which was my main concern with therapy.
