Not knowing how long this miserable disease will allow Harriet to get around, we are making the most of each day. Tonight began the Bourbon Festival here in Bardstown, a week of festivities. Most of the events don't interest us, because we don't drink, but a few things are family oriented. Tonight we went to what they call a "Balloon Glow", where several hot air balloons are inflated during daylight, and then are made to glow by their heating flames.
It was a simple thing, but something that made Harriet glow almost as much as the balloons. That alone made it worth going to.
