my son has also suffered with his hips(he had EDS3) and that was what got the doctors to look more closely at what was going on but we get Physical therapy for his through a Children's hospital and he seems to be doing better but I sympathize with your pain and I am sorry you have to go through it - keep your smile on

I came here through a friend of a friend with a drive by purring just for you! For the next minute my 25 cats will purr in unison (Tilly, get out of the food bowls!), just for you! (Hoover, get out of the kitchen!) This will happen momentarily (Magic stop hitting Tabitha!). Any time now (Bob get out of the LITTERBOX!). Ok, we may have to do this tomorrow (as a green cloud engulfs the computer) because Bob just went to the litterbox and no one wants to be around when that happens...ummm..so...Happy Day! (as massive coughing and choking ensues)

i've battled with it on and off since i was about 14. Every time I've been on medicine it's helped tremendously, but i'm not currently on anything.
Treatments
- Elavil Not Working
- using it for nerve pain...and it works well for that. As far as the depression goes, i dont see a difference. The other medications i took worked much better.
- Paxil Working / Worked
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- i have done therapy before and it has worked, going to start going back though.
- St. John\'s Wort Working / Worked
- i thought it worked well, i cannot take it now though as I'm birth control and it can affect that.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- Zoloft Working / Worked

- it didnt really work for me, but it worked really great for my mom, guess it affects people differently
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Naproxen Not Working
- Nerve Blocks Working / Worked
- using elavil which is a tricyclic antidepressant, so far so good, been on it about a year
