my name is yesenia and i've had social anxiety disorder since i was 13. i also suffer from depression and obesity. i try to be the best i can and try to live life the best i can. what more can i say?

Interests

Hobbies: I enjoy watching a good/interesting comedy/thriller/drama, going on youtube.com and other interesting sites, typing dramatic/romantic stories and fanfiction (when i'm not lazy and distracted by internet surfing), going on road trips (especially long ones), listening and singing (well singing in my head i have to work on singing out loud) along to japanese pop music (yes i also like singing to english and spanish music lol). I like to go out shopping but would love to go out bowling, dancing, and would love to do karaoke one day. My Favorites (This list is gonna be long and has some explanations so ignore if you're too busy. I'm on a roll right now and that's unusual since I'm really shy/lazy/and i procrastinate with things lol) Food: PIZZA, spaghetti and meatballs, veal parmisagne (I think I spelled it wrong oh well), meatball sandwich (I like SUBWAY's meatball sandwiches especially rather eat that than McDonald's) most italian food/pasta, puerto rican food (yes I'm puerto rican and not ashamed to admit it!), PEPSI/DIET PEPSI, cheeseburger and fries, CHOCOLATE, I also love fruit such as grapes, cantaloupe, oranges, and watermelon. Color: Hot pink Music: World (Japanese pop and West Indian), Orchestral, Pop, R&B and anything else that makes my imagination go wild :) Favorite Singers/Musicians: Japanese singers Hikaru Utada, Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro, Gackt, and Koda Kumi, Bjork, M.I.A, Missy Elliott, Timbaland (He helped produce Hikaru Utada's American debut album and also kinda assisted Bjork with her latest album Volta), David Bowie, Queen (With Freddie Mercury-he was the best! R.I.P Freddie!), Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Smashing Pumpkins, Keyshia Cole, Alicia Keys, reggaeton (urban music that originated in Panama but became popular in Puerto Rico) performers such as Ivy Queen, Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, Wisin y Yandel singer Ricky Martin, Early to mid 80s Menudo (A puerto rican boy band that made it big in the U.S. with Ricky Martin in 1985), and singer/musician Robi Rosa(Also from Menudo like Ricky Martin) Favorite TV Show(s): Loved watching Beavis and Butthead, Blossom (remember Joey Lawrence's catchprase "WHOA!") and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers when I was a kid (lol still watch them occasionally on YouTube) oops you probably want my recent favorite shows! I like Dave Chapelle (That's off the air/in syndication but still it's a recent show-Dave and Charlie Murphy are hilarious!), I like South Park once in a while, Most stuff on VH1, Supernanny (I only like watching when the kids are throwing tantrums lol), Intervention, interesting documentaries/forensic shows, besides that I don't really watch much TV. Favorite Movie(s): Heathers with Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, Disney's Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Cinderella, Snow White-ugh I miss the old way Disney used to make kids movies-i'm a 90s kid forever :), Shrek 2 and 3, The Parent Trap (60s version not that Lindsey Lohan crap lol), Not Another Teen Movie, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, The Hot Chick, St. Elmo's Fire (I was such a Rob Lowe freak when I was in my younger teens lol), Wayne's World, The Joy Luck Club, Films about Indigenous people/tribes such as Skins and Business of Fancydancing, Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2, Foxfire, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Warriors, Dazed and Confused, Empire Records, Cry Baby, Hairspray (the late 80s version haven't seen the new one), What's Eating Gilbert Grape?, Meet the Fockers, and more movies I can't think of right now lol Favorite Actor(s)/Actresses: Angelina Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts (I loved her especially in Erin Brockovich), Winona Ryder, Johnny Depp, A man from the Coast Salish First Nations tribe in Canada named Evan Adams, A young actor from the Sicangu Lakota tribe named Eddie Spears, a man from the Salteaux First Nations tribe called Adam Beach and that's all I can think of. Shop(s): DEB, Dots, and anyplace that sells cute clothes that fit me, EB (Electronics Boutique) games, and Barnes and Noble bookstores. Book(s): Girls Out Late Series, Book about this little chinese boy I read when I was little, The Babysitter's Club series, Sweet Valley High (Well I mostly liked the Junior High ones), The Outsiders (liked the book better than the movie) Drink(s): Smirnoff (wine cooler not the vodka lol), Arbor Mist and Corona Restaurant(s)/Fast food places: Subway, Burger King, McDonald's, My cousin's restaurant that sells puerto rican food, Olive Garden, this puerto rican restaurant I went to when I was a kid (I wish it still existed. I'm not sure if it exists today). Travel Spot(s): Puerto Rico, Florida, Virginia Video Game(s): The Sims Series-the game that frustrates me the least (like the first one more than the second), Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 10-one of the best selling and most popular RPG game series that originally came from Japan, Siren-also originally a Japanese game that made it to the UK and U.S. but didn't do well in the U.S. (Forbidden Siren in the UK. This game is just impossible to play unless you have a lot of patience and don't get upset easily when you lose, Omikron: The Nomad Soul-a cool action/adventure game taking place in the future with a soundtrack by David Bowie, Tomb Raider 1-3, Legend, and Anniversary-game that frustrates me, Kingdom Hearts-also originally Japanese it's an RPG game for everyone that combines Disney and Final Fantasy characters, and No One Lives Forever-A cool sixties-esque spy game
