I know how you feel, and it is so hard. I live with my boyfriend of 2 1/2 yrs, that I found out is using Heroin. The lies, the deceit, the manipulation....then comes the apologies, and empty promises. Good luck, and keep in touch. I have only been here for two days, and it really helps!

I love a Vicodin addict. I discovered her addiction a little over a year ago. I made all the CODA mistakes trying to control her for nine months, then did a family intervention on valentines day. 10 days of detox and 12 weeks of out patient rehab. and I fell in love with her (sober and much different) all over again. She lasted about a month out of rehab and relapsed. I pitched a fit, then went right back to my CODA ways. This AM I went home, confronted her,flushed her stash and left.
