08.05.o8 I had finished work early but the customer had constantly followed me around.In my job you wont believe how my customers so want your full attention.I start every week with a new job,I have a team who work alongside us but we run our own business  as they all do.The customer can choose whether to have the people in we know or have their own.But from day one they are so nervous or they want to play us for everything they think they can get free.They test my strength and even some have only let me in their house if their so called princess pooch likes me.I have great confidence in our work and that of our lovely electricians and of cause dangermouse the gas man.We have worked alongside each other for alot of years and we know each others strengths and weaknesses.We do work with alot of other tradesmen and may not see each other for a week.They see me again and our jokes and rubbing my head starts all over again.The women seem to fall in love with all the men I work with and yes I dont blame them they are very special.I know that the job we do will be good and yes I am confident and the wows we get at the end of the week.The customer does not realize what goes on behind the scenes and the sweat we and the heavy lifting and how dirty we all get.I am the luckiest woman in the world.I get to get dirty with men bet sonnyjojo is jealous.But going back to the customers some think I am there to make them tea,do their ironing and even get their washing in if it rains.I even get notes will we feed the cat.Some will follow me around and I have had one woman for the whole week waited outside the loo for me.Thats bad  waiting outside the loo.I have been in peoples houses and they have started drinking whilst we are there and then think they can do our job very scary trying to take off a drill when someones pissed.Now the animals they like to wee in our tool boxes even and they get so upset once their food bowl is moved boy can we be in trouble but I been lucky and have met some wonderful animals I have even met turkeys.Turkeys are very intelligent they even know some of them how to sand worktops because Ive had ten of them watch me bizzare really in a middle of a garden with ten turkeys watching me.I do learn alot from my customers and I get to go in many peoples homes and see their lifestyle.Some have turned out to be really nice people none of them know I have acromegaly and how some of my days I am tired and wished they would let me sit and have that quiet cup of tea but some wont let me do that.They love to tell me all their problems and some just think that because they are paying for our skills they can play games they do it to all of us its called could you just do this little job and I see if I can get away out paying.I have meet so many personalities some good some really bad.For the week that we are there they do drain me they forget we live normal lives like the ones who ring really early in the morning or the ones who think they can ring really late at night.I know they worry its there baby but sometimes they have to take  responsibility.At the end of the job and our team moves out and I feel tired but can see what I call a piece of us into their lives and they smile,they give me flowers and shake our hands and they feel good because all week they feel Ive kept them sane.Now going back to why I wrote this journal The customers do not realize that I do  have acromegaly that how I can be drained or that they dont realize why they are taking it out on us because of their own insecurities.I know where they have their secret bottle of gin is lol.I came home early the other day and came on DS and who was on My mate swampy he knew I was so tired he could tell and I realized then that I give so much to my work to my family to the ten teenagers who love being here to my dog and cat who think I can get up early.I realize yes I love my job because of the special men I work with who hold me up and Swampy who was a true friend on that day I came home and said he didnt care who I was he loved me as a mate either way.The lovely messages and hugs of concern are holding me up again and helping me again fight this battle of acromegaly.Thankyou to my special friends I will be having my dose of drug again and wil continue on so watch out I will be kicking ass very soon.
