Anyone know of any moves or positions to try for getting a baby to turn?
Mine is breech right now (still only 29 weeks).
I would like to promote him to turn naturally.

i never realized that balancing the meridians and opening the root chakras would help.. it makes total sense.
and acupuncture is supposedd to help- I read that a bunch of places online too (I hate needles though)

M. be really careful of any inverted poses. Make sure you get the OK. Most ob-gyn's will say 'no' to inversions during pregnancy. Maybe leg-up-the-wall would be better than shoulder stand? Be gentle with yourself. You know well enough the baby could shift positions on his/her own. So maybe give them the opportunity to do that and be gentle and slow with poses that are supposed to help. Are you going to a pre-natal class, that's the thing I would tell you to do right now. -

i really wasn't planning on shoulder stand. I didn't like the idea of it.
now cat/cow is a much better idea. I have no problems with that.. actually I have done it on accident to relieve pressure before. -

Do you have shiva rea's pregnancy DVD? I thought you did..... There are a lot of hip openers in that. Going down into a squatting position and resting your elbows against your knees, hands at the heart center, spine straight would be good, like you're going into crow but you don't. Pigeon family. Legs-up-the-wall, supta badha konasana...... you get the idea. Keep us posted about the baby's position. xoxo -

it is a mental battle....
you need it the most when you are too stressed or exhausted to do it.
slowly... taking baby steps (no pun intended) -

We all have to recognize that the mind lies to us and the heart doesn't. I'm not pushing you, I'm just trying to see if there's a different perspective.

yes.. i understand and appreciate it!
I know I need my yoga... our minds really mess with us sometimes and keep us from healing the way we should.
I am working on it.... acceptance and then doing something about it.
thanks so much
