Well, no ever said I am perfect. LOL
Posted by ChrisAz - 04/30/08, 01:10 pmDo you know why I call the "War in Iraq" and "The War on Terror" communities the "War Rooms"? I have been a member of both for almost a year.
Unfortunately, it seems to be the same people who belong to both communities. I often get quite frustrated at the many people there who choose not to debate the political issues, but would rather just sit there and call names and "bicker" with each other. For this reason, I call these two communities the "War Rooms".
Last night, with much sadness, I quit these communities. I just got tired of all of the "bickering". Come to find out, one of my very good friends quit the war rooms the day before. So he and I were commiserating last night and wondering if we could really stay away since we are both concerned about what is happening in America today.
As a joke, I created a new Member Group here at DS and I sent an invitation to several other DS friends who were of like mind regarding these two communities.
Who knows, maybe this group will become the AA group for "War Room Addicts and Survivors". LOL
BTW, I apologize for the name of the group now showing up on your profile page differently than I first set it up.
I first set it up as: WRAASA
Then I decided to change the header of this group to: WAR ROOMS ADDICTS AND SURVIVORS ANONYMOUS
I had wanted to not really draw attention to this group, but maybe that is not bad idea. If anyone happens upon this group, maybe they will see that people really do get frustrated with the constant "bickering" in the War Rooms.
