  I am controlled but not manipulated. After 23yrs of marriage to my shock My husband announces his intention to divorce me and have a baby with another woman. Good luck to her and hoorah!!! for me

  Yesterday I opened my own checking account so my husband would not take my whole disability check every month and leave me with nothing. I was so proud of my self, but there will be repercussions to pay. He will be furious with me. I don't know what he will do. He will probably rescind all the promises he made to me to take care of me after he moves out.
  I am scared to death. I feel this was something I had to do. I am moving towards the first step of not being controlled by him any more, period.
