how many of you smoke cigarettes?

my husband just quit smoking and i was telling him that there was no way in hell i could handle quitting smoking right now and he asked if it was because of bipolar. i know that it is for me. i have far too many issues to deal with right now to even consider quitting. it has a very calming effect on me. i was just interested to know if that was a typical bipolar thing to do. im interested to find out how many of us are smokers.

I only drink and smoke to excess. Trouble is I can resist anything but temptation.

I keep trying to quit smoking. But my hubby and I both smoke a pack a day and I can't quit if he's still smoking. We roll our own right now. We buy empty tubes w/ filters at the end ($2.50 for 200 tubes) and Top Regular tobacco. We roll about 30 cigarettes for only $1.55.

When we're rich, we buy whatever short regulars box pack the store has.

I smoke and even know better my dad died of lung cancer, my husband, mother, 2 sisters and 1 daughter have quit over a year now.....but I seem to make up for their quitting by smoking more. Why, I don't know....wish I could blame it on Bipolar but know its an addiction. See I just talk about it and light one up and just put one out!
