2012 !

I would like to know what your opinions are on the question of whether or not you think something spectacular will happen on 12-21-12, or do you think it will just be a uneventful Winter Solstice?
I am taking for granit that you have heard of the Mayan Calender and the profiseies. If not, here is just one of many videos on the subject, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecT... there are two parts to this.

  I have heard about this and some of the things that they say are going to happen but to me it dosen`t really matter because I know where I am in my faith so if the world dosen`t go on after 12-21-12 then so be it I won`t be around and won`t miss it.You have to look at it like it being some of the doom sayers have been screaming for years and just live life one day at a time and don`t worry about what tomorrow will bring.

  I have watched some shows about the Mayan and other cultures have the same prophecy. I believe this time is when E.T.'s and humans make contact and the world. Most think a natural disaster.

  I guess even the Myans had to end their calendar some time! No I really dont think they had a good sense of prophesy or they would never have welcomed the Spanish explorers. My Bible is the only source of fulfilled prophesy I know of, and Jesus said that even he didnt know the hour or day the earth would fall into tribulation. He did leave us some clues and we do seem to be racing that direction. But an exact date.... not a chance.

  Dunno. Agnostic me says I'll hopefully be enjoying a greasy cheeseburger when Whatever Big Unknown happens. I think aliens making themselves widely known would be fantastic. Anything that disrupts the current system is good in my book. And if they eat us then at least we'll have done some good. :)

  Personally I think that that is when the 'veils' will fall and all things mythical, will become part of our world again.

This group is for those who think we are not alone in this universe or even on this planet.It is a discussion group to try and see if there are other paople who share there thoughts without being laughed at or made fun of.It is also something to do that just might take our minds off of our day to day aches and pains.It is also for those who want to share some of the things that have happened to them in there lives.If you know what I mean.
