looking 15 years older. seeing people gasp that haven't seen me before tx, precious little energy....oh yeah...one thing...already broke a rule! -

###1 - When it doesn't work!
###2 - It makes him NASTY
###3 - It makes him SICK and TIRED
###4 - It hurts him to take his shots
###5 - He has to take so many other things - Procrit, the stomach pill, the trank, the sleeping pill, the Aleve - and he HATES pills
###6 - He gets so quiet--goes somewhere else in his mind I can't go.

what 'pissed me off'..was people telling me how skinny I was how grey I looked...and these were STRANGERS! so I would calmly say 'I'm on chemo' and watch there stupid face go red! -

1. having no income b/c husb is on tx & can't work, that really sucks. sorry, it's really getting to me. 2. people's complete lack of understanding that this is an illness and it does affect you and your body and how you feel and the tx is like chemo, it is difficult, you feel terrible. 3. seeing the person you love most in the world suffer every single day and knowing that even when tx is over it's going take a while to recover. 4. that when people find out you have hep c they think it's your fault - sorry this is off topic, but i just really really really really need to vent!!!
aside from all of that, i am also really really really really grateful that the tx is working b/c if it wasn't then that would be the thing that most pisses me off! -

You just don't know if it's the right thing to do . . . .even the doctors don't know. The whole thing just PISSES ME OFF!
