Losing Loved Ones

Posted on 06/11/08, 07:23 pm
Hello everyone. I just joined and this was the only way I could think of to try and reach as many people as possible. This is not really a story, but more my way of passing on my deep admiration and sympathies to those members who have lost someone dear to them. Most especially to parents who have lost their kids. I read some of their posts and my heart broke for them.

If you are in grieving for someone near and dear to you, human or animal, I applaud you for having the courage to seek out others. That takes real courage. Please everyone, don't be offended that I included pets with animals. You may not understand, but to some of us, they are every bit as meaningful to us as are our human loved ones. I truly hope I haven't offended anyone. Again, you all have my sincerest sympathies.

Regards,

Oh, gosh no, no offense taken at including animals. They ARE family also. The loss of a pet is every much as real a the loss of a human. Big hugs.

Welcome

This group is formed with the idea that we collectively have a place to tell our stories. Gosh, don't each of us have so many stories to tell!!! Some happy, some sad, some ironic, some defying classification. Bring back the memories of youth, memories of growing up, memories of life changing events. The only thing I ask is to please keep it mutually respectful, and non-argumentative.
