A new start
Posted by honeybunch6 - 04/10/08, 07:14 pmWell, today I would like to start by saying thank you to everyone for there membership and support. I look forward to getting to know you all better very soon.
So, we all know bullying and teasing is normal thing for grade school adn high school kids but why should we have to just go through life being the victim to this crap or even being the bystander watching this happen. I have been in both situation, both very unwelcomed and horrible. I've been fighting my old school system, distric 12, to help bring bullying of girls and boys to an end. Last year the got what is called the "bully hotline". Students could call a number and report bullying without being know who you are.
Alot of things that are helping bullying to continue is labeling. We've all heard them. The nerd, the goth, the jock, ect. I was labeld in middle school and again in high school.
I hope to post soon on more isues about this world wide issuse.
