Well, from a physical point of view, certainly, none of us can know how much you should put on your plate. I would say that in general, school is never a bad idea, but if you take on more than you can manage, that's never a good idea... so its a matter of checks and balances, ya know!?!?
If you are going to go back to school, I would say that you should start off by adding in a class, not a course load... just one class, and not a terribly difficult one at that. As you build your stamina, and manage your time, you will be able to gauge whether you are ready to take on more.
If you were going to pay someone to take care of your daughter, then you might as well pay them to do what you would do in that time, within reason... at the very least managing the dishes that would be generated during that time, picking up, maybe some light cleaning... you should at least not have to come home to more work than you left having, kwim? Some sitters are basically just slobs who serve as warm bodies to make sure that children aren't alone. Make sure you set the bar where you want it.
And as far as your MS goes... have you tried acupuncture? I know a couple of women who had great success with it when I was working in the acupuncture office years ago... and then, also, there is reiki, which is certainly worth trying out...

Should I go back to college?

Seeing as how I am disabled and can't work, I stay at the house all day with my daughter. I thought about going back and finishing college. I can't decide if I should or not, though. I can't decide if I would be better off staying here at home and being a housewife. I would have to find a babysitter for my daughter too, if I went to school. I'm afraid that if I was to do my house chores, I wouldn't be able to take any evening classes without becoming worn out, thus bringing on another Multiple Sclerosis attack. I just don't know.

School is never a bad thing. Just depends what you want out of it. If you finish will you start a new career or just finish to accomplish a goal?
Are you OK with leaving your baby? that would be my problem.
How about on-line classes. Some great school have them available.
But I agree to start it slow, a class at a time. You have a lot to deal with, but its what makes you happy.
Good luck -

I have 3 kids and not able to attend a class in person.
After searching and searching... I found a wonderful online school. They are geared towards people with families and lives. They have 5 week classes instead of the normal 9-10 weeks.. and one class at a time is considered full time.
I have been here over a year and LOVE it!! I am actually on the Dean's list too.
It is www.ashford.edu Ashford University. The actual campus is in Clinton, Iowa.. so if ever in town, you could take on campus classes too
Why not have education?
