Hi everyone I was just wondering the amount of people that have been either slowed down or halted in school because of your SAD? It could have stopped you from entering college or university... or just getting the job you feel you really want?
I will start
I am in college now but it took my 6 years to work up some courage to go. But I made it and lucky for me I have supportive parents that help me pay for my education. I work for my dad so I feel comfortable at work.
Thanks in advance to everyone that replies :) xoxoxo

i think that my depression has taken a huge part in my life, both work wise and socially. ive called out so many times on a mental health day ive lost count. i am trying to stick to my meds and my therapy but its difficult with no insurance...hate the vicious cycle and want to break free! -

Mine has been very disruptive in the past. I had to quit two jobs because of it, and in the recent past took three months off work. -

Thank you so much for sharing :) I really appreciate it :) (im not doing this for some scientific research or anything too so no worries about that lol I thought of that after hehe)
I know I feel so bad for you that you need to pay for your insurance .. im in canada and I have OHIP that pays for all my therapy (it was a group sessions over the summer) so I am so proud of you to take it that seriously that you would pay for it because I know if I was in that situation.. I would not ... because im super cheep when it comes to things that are essential to my being lol I seem to spend my money on shoes and food and crap.. lol
anyways THANK YOU for answering my post I am so proud of you !!! xoxox Amy -
