Geodon?

Is anyone on here taking Geodon and if so, what are your experiences with it?
My doc put me on this over a month ago and my last visit he increased me to a morning dose as well.
I'm not having the hallucinations at night like I was but I'm finding I stay very tired all day long.
Thanks for any feedback you may give.
Blessings.

Yes, that is what is happening to me and if it doesn't change in the next 90 days (I have a 90 day supply of meds right now), then I'm going to ask to be changed to Abilify or something else. Thanks for the reply. -

My pdoc was thinking of changing me from Seroquel to Geodon at my next visit. I have been acting more like a spokesperson for a commercial the last few weeks. I know that sounds a bit "out there" but that is the sorta stuff that happens and I think it may be that the medication(s) may not be working fully. Sometimes at night I see like dark figures. They don't do anything to me, but it is like they fly by fast and when I look back to see them, they are gone. Are there any side effects other then sleepiness that any of you on Geodon have experienced???? -

I've been on Geodon for 3 1/2 years. For most of that, it worked well. I was so stable that I was able to start working again. I think that was a catalyst for symptoms to start up again and I'm in the process of changing to Clozapine. The worst side effect I'm experiencing is tardive dyskenesia (involuntary muscle movements). Like I said, it worked well for 3 years. It never made me tired. -

meds all depends on the person. everyone responds differently to them. i started out on geodon. it made me seriously doped up for a month or so and then I got over th hump of that and it got better. eventually it stoped making me tired. any drug like this could make you tired. sometimes you have to push through it. but i don't know your experince, so maybe you should talk to your pdoc -

I was INCREDIBLY sleepy as well, so sleepy in fact, that I would literally fall asleep while playing my violin in orchestra class, only to wake up seconds later with drool running down my chin bent over my stand. Not a drug for everyone. -

I was like a freakin' zombie. I felt like I was trippin'. Not a good drug in my opinion -

I take Geodon. I take 160 mg. I take 80 mg twice a day and it doesn't make me drowsy at all. -
