You Got Your Groove On????

What are you doing today to move? Perhaps this will give all of us some ideas and some alternatives! Remember .. baby steps ... :]

    Today is more garage siding so I'll be bending over and standing up over and over to pick up siding, measure it, cut it and install it. In addition, I'll be climbing up and down the ladder and swinging a hammer ... over and over and over ... lolll ... to cut and install the insulation in the peak of the garage.     I used my Ab-Lounge 50 sit-ups! Then I just have a lot of erands to do.. today I can't use my computer until I do another 50 on the ab-Lounge.. I'll most likely pull some weeds in my garden also. Basically my debt is 50 sit ups if I leave the computer and want to get back on it later.

    Well...had my jog/walk this morning (when it can be just a jog I shall be a happy gal!). It's just me now...the doggie isn't having any part of it anymore. I have a few errands to do to get my son registered for school. Aside from that...a 12-hour workday should top it all of nicely. : )

    I did my 2.5 miles this morning. I'm glad I'm not doing garage siding.

    I am about to sign off and go jog on my BOSU ball. I have enough equipment in my house to start my own gym, but the BOSU is the one piece I keep going back too. It is so much fun!!

    The PT's that I do some work for (also docs and hand therapists) use these BOSU balls all of the time in their exercises with the patients. I will have to get them to show me what one is. Not sure how these are different from the regular exercise balls....shall ask tomorrow.

    I have these dvd's from beachbody.com called turbojam. They are butt kickers. I started yesterday with less than zero motivation and ended up doing 2 of the dvd's. One is called "fat blaster" and has 4 intervals in it. That is when you go all out and your heart is hammering away.
    Then I did another hour cardio one. I have hand weights which intensifies the workout. I woke up today feeling the effects.

    LOL! I know what you mean. I woke up this morning feeling the after effects of my 5K yesterday. Today off....tomorrow...right back at it! : )
