Chinese Noodle Salad
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles with seasoning packet
1/2 head romaine lettuce, chopped
1 (10 ounce) can mandarin orange segments, drained
1/4 cup slivered almonds

DIRECTIONS
In a microwave-safe bowl, mix together vinegar, sugar, and oil. Microwave on high until sugar dissolves, about 1 minute. Mix well, and set aside to cool.
Crush ramen noodles in the packages. Pour into salad dressing.
In a salad bowl, toss romaine lettuce with oranges, almonds, and salad dressing.

Any easy/tasty Salad Recipies?

I like easy recipes and my teens wont eat salad much and I need quick and easy ones before they leave out the door. Could anyone give me some tips on tasty salads? not overwhelmimg ingredients..they are somewhat fussy but will try most things once..lol. I am not good at making salads and make usually two only types, Caesar and Garden...Im sick of those ones. How about those ones with noodles in them too?
