diabetics

For those of you who might also be diabetic, be aware that most insurance companies will cover the cost of one pair of diabetic shoes per year. These are very supportive shoes with good traction on the soles, and comfortable. Most have velcro closures.
Very few benefits of adding diabetes to your health concerns, but with this, you get a pair of shoes that are also excellent for MS'ers.
You will need a PCP's Rx, referral, and prior authorization from your insurance company. The referral is usually to go to an orthotics shop to have them fitted to your feet.
