The Trial is over and the verdict is....

Ok the trial is over and the verdict is back. However it is not what either side wanted. It was a deadlock hung jury of 6-6.....So now we are back to where we started, the lawyers will talk about bargains of jail time and registering him as a sex offender. If he does not accept then its back to court with a new jury. I do appreciate all the support from everyone!!!! I can't tell you how much it means to me and my family. I will have more free time after hubby's appointment tomorrow for his post op check up. He is doing really well despite everything that is going on. His hips and leg is bothering him....(pain wise) But his back is better than what it was.

Sorry to hear that Kim, I do hope that he will accept what is negotiated and that you and your daughter and the rest of the family do not have to go through this all again. But just in case you do you will probably have to keep all the details about it private until you know for sure. Hope that hubby's follow up is all good too. -

Gees, I can't believe it was a hung jury. Maybe it will scare him enough to take the plea bargin. Or he's hoping you guys will give up because of the pressure on the family especially your daughter.
Don't give up! You have to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone else. I can only imagine the stress thiis puts on everyone. Just remind everyone you are protecting someone else from being hurt.

thank you all, as a family we are strong, and preparing to fight and protect others. We are still licking our own personal wounds....but determined to win the case and put him behind bars!.
I have had some sleep now, and can think straight.
