It is often difficult to find or express the good in ourselves. If we take the time to remind ourselves more often, it would do us alot of good.
My strengths: I am a good mother. My special needs children have made me become a strong nurturer, researcher, teacher, and advocate.
Ummm...well...my whole life revolves around that above and it's hard to think of any more strengths.
My weaknesses: My mental health problems...well not them actually, but the way I let them take control of my emotions is a weakness.

Last night I was at the store and nearly bought an organizer to help me organize a few things. I started to rethink about purchasing it and I started admitting to myself that I would end up not using it and put it by the way side. I'm terrible when it comes to organization especially making things a routine habit, or something I need to remember on a daily basis.
Then the words, "Use your strengths" hit me like a wave. What are my strengths? Well, I am good with computers. Although my weekness is short term memory loss, etc In analyzing my strengths I realized that I could use my skill for my own advantage. Instead of having a paper calendar, which I knew for a fact I would never use eventually, I decided to use google calendar and other tools that would help me remember what I needed to do.
So here I ask you, "What are YOUR strengths"?
What are your weakeness?
How can you use those strengths to your advantage over your weaknesses?

Tenacity, I was born this way. Sometimes too much tenacity needs to be toned down a bit in circumstances needing a gentler touch, or even by letting go. Tenacity helps me get through days of difficulty with my health issues, mainly arthritis difficulties.
The love to learn and discover self. I love to learn and seek out learning opportunities in daily life. My love to learn helps me in all sorts of ways, adding interest diversity and awareness almost daily. Being alert to the daily possibilities helps keep a positive perspective in my case. Learning strengthens my convictions, and keeps me up on the latest health news as well.
Simplicity. I am basically simple minded and single minded, content and at peace with very little of the material realm. This aspect of myself gets me into trouble with the materialistic of this world, for they view me as a threat to their way of life or at the very least somebody to reject for not sharing their views. It also makes me look boring to those that view personal interest through material possessions.

Ruby, how did I get this far in life without ever being asked this questions?
My strengths:
* I'm artistic
* I am good at finding a bargain
* I can encourage people through my life experiences
* I am good at organizing
* I have a "Dr. Doolittle" way with animals
* I am kind towards all people
* I have a green thumb
* I am a good listener
* I am a loyal friend
* I am good at finding a low cost avenue in any project I do
* I am a good daughter
My weaknesses:
* I have a compulsive personality
* I care so little about myself
* I tend to over think things
* I am great out of the gate when starting something, but struggle during the race, and find it difficult to complete a goal
* I allow other people's opinions of me affect me
* I don't stand up for my rights
* I become silent during confrontation and if I do open up, I usually regret my response
* I do not do well in social situations, so I try to avoid them
* I find it difficult to express my feelings verbally
* I would opt for the not knowing something than to face a difficult situation
* I am my own worse critic, I judge myself through a high power microscope
"How can you use those strengths to your advantage over your weaknesses.":
* I believe if I could operate in my organizational skills more, It would help with a lot of day to day issues that keep me from reaching my goals

My strengths are i'm caring, thoughtful, a good mother, I beleive i have
a good heart, & i'm creative, I love to make people laugh
My weaknesses are I have a hard time with trust, i spend time worrying, i'm forgetful at times, I have a hard time expressing how I feel, & i'm antisocial!!! -
