dogs dont forget

my husband is in prison. my little dog found one of my husbands slippers he sniffed it for awhile then laid his little head on it and slept on it all night. i know they miss him just as much as i do but i thought that was so sweet and wanted to share.

  yes. i thought when my bf was gone i would use his pillow - just to feel closer to him. no dice. My cats decided that was their domain, and always hogged it!

  Such a sweet story.I'm sure he is missing him too. It should be a great tailwagging when hubby gets home.

  oh yeah definitely my boyfriend i live with got deployed and zieke sleeps with a pair of his socks :)

  i took a picture of chance sleeping on his slipper and im going to send it to dennis i think he will like that.

  Ah, that breaks my heart! Sweet little doggy misses his "daddy."
  
  My dog was retruned to the animal shelter by several families and I always wonder what he went through and how he remembers it. He has severe separation anxiety and abandonment issues now.
  
  They have such beautiful, devoted little hearts.
  
  I hope your husband isn't gone for long.
