AND THEN THERE WERE TWO

THIS MORNING, MANDY, WHO'S 18th BIRTHDAY IS IN NOVEMBER, PASSED AWAY. SHE WAS BORN AT MY HOME AND SHE WAS A WELL TRAVELED DOG. WHILE IT IS HARD TO HAVE A PET PASS, SHE LED A GREAT LIFE. MANDY WAS ALMOST BLIND, NEARLY DEAF, AND WAS STILL EATTING WELL. SHE ATE LIKE NORMAL YESTERDAY. LATE LAST NIGHT, HER BREATHING HAD BECOME VERY LABORED, SO I PUT IN BED WITH, UNTIL SHE PASSE.
NOW IT IS ME AND MY "SHADOW".

  I am sooo sorry to hear about Mandy. My heart breaks with you and I share your pain. Because she was a star in your life, make her a star in the sky. And when you feel lonely and missing her just go outside and look up, and her love will continue to shine down on you. She will always be up there for you, even when you move.

  I'm sorry to hear about your sudden loss. I feel your loss as I have lost a great friend also. Mandy will always be in your heart. She lived a full, loving life.

  Thank You for your kind words. I have been blessed in my life to have long time compassionship with most of my 'family'. She is in Heaven with all the animals she and I rescued over the years, including other dogs, cats, geese, and ducks. Yes, we used to live at small lake, and if something happened to a mother duck or goose, we raised the babies. I sat up one bedroom and bath with cages. It was Mandy's job every morning to go into that room with me to let the baby's out of the cage, then she help herd them into the bathtub for a warm swim! She must have 'mothered' over 200!!
  It is great comfort for me to know Mandy is in being held right now in Jesus's loving arms.

  So sorry to hear about your loss of Mandy. She sounds like a very special dog abd I know you must be very sad. But just think of her during the happy times and you will be okay.

  Yes, I miss her, but I know she is with God. I will talk about her often, in good times and bad. That is what love and life are about. Thanks to all...becky
