Friend's Dog
Posted on 07/30/08, 01:23 am
I have a very dear friend who had to return her dog to the breeder last week. This was a Christmas present from their son. Boomer is a larger dog, and my friends are in their mid 70's. He was just too much for them to handle. They got all his shots, had him neutered, and took him for training. Right now they are so broken hearted. I am the only one they have told. In fact she had to e-mail me, said she couldn't talk about it over the phone. She made me promise not to e-mail or call her about Boomer until sometime passes. I have, and will continue to honor her request, although I wish I could do more for them. Of course, keeping a promise is sacred to me.
Here is where each of you reading this comes in. Please put Di and Jerry in your prayers. They are such wonderful people.
God Bless Each of you....becky
