You might look into using amino acids such as 5-htp for depression but make sure you aren't on any antidepressants.

For the other, I've had very good luck with acupuncture/acupressure. I posted some info on the acupuncture/pressure points for insomnia on here a few days ago. It also lists a wonderful site where you can print the diagrams to follow along with.

Try this web site 1800homeopathy.org they have herbal meds for everything and all is pretty inexpensive most can be taken with other meds but double check with your Dr. For pain my favorite is Arnica montana 200 works awesome. Hope this helps

I am taking 5htp and it has definitley helped with depression, pain and I am getting really good sleep. My dr had me on antidepresants and I never got into the deep sleep, I would sleep 6-7 hours and wonder how I made it to work that day because I was so exhausted sometimes I would have to stop on the way and it was only a 1/2 hour drive. After I lost my job I decided I was tired of being tired and feeling like I was in a daze all the time so I told my dr I was not going to take the antidepressant any more. After about a month and a half I was constantly depressed and wanting to cry all the time. This is when I decided to try the 5 htp. It took about a month for me to notice a difference. Now I am taking the 5htp, omegal 3 fish oil and maca for menopause and the sleep is so much better, pain is a bit better and concentration is getting better daily. I just hope it keeps getting better. Good luck with finding the right combination of treatments for you.

By the way, my dr keeps telling me about studies that show 5htp really doesn't do anything and my response to him is I'm sure that is true for a lot of people but it is working for me and I'm not going to quit taking it.

The best thing I have found for headaches and over all pain is cell salts, particularly the Iron Phosphate. They helped me and several others that were suffering from pneumonia.

Depression+stress:Veggie Tales, Lavender, rose, basil essential oil(the herbs of theses are good as well), talking to God, meditation, B-12, melatonin, writing, non-cafine herbal tea.

lack of sleep:Same as stress and depression, but instead of Veggie Tales it's Indian Fluts.

pain:White willow bark(do not take with aspirin), msm, heat, rest.

headaches:Lavender and eucalyptus essential(not together), white willow bark, heat on the forhead, darkness, meditation.

I forgot to add that I play and cuddle with my cat. Animals can do wounders!

Look into NeuroCranial Restructuring at http://www.ncrdoctors.com - this naturopathic/chiropractic procedure provides amazing incremental corrective improvements that last. it's not like an adjustment you have to repeat week after week. My story is miraculous as a result of 4 days of treatment way back in October 06 which ended pain requiring 180mg a day of long acting morphine (ms-contin). I haven't needed it in 20 months so FAR. This is the real deal, just this week my friend, Lou22, here on DS was treated in London and is proclaiming it a miracle for her. good luck all.
