My recent adventures regarding PCOS:

Posted on 10/05/08, 11:17 am
I have PCOS. I am a mom (How blessed!!!). Wanted to have five kids, but decided to get happy with just two.

I was sick of irregular bleeding and all the nonsense that with it. It was painful too. As I am bad at taking pills, I got a tubal, and then am taking pills now to have regular period, than always be worried when the unpredictable period will ever show up again.

I am now experiencing pimples and hair loss! I am hating it presently. What happened to all my tooth enamel? It's becoming transparent. I am thinking I should maybe stop the BCP's and try something else that does not have any synthetic hormones in it. Plus I have a really horrible back problem.

Instead of lying down and taking it I want to stand up and face it. I am going to join some yoga classes, and eat more diabetic type food. I don't have diabetes yet. I wonder what I should do once I stop my BCP. I am searching for proper supplements for hair thinning and also shampoo and conditioner. I read rave reviews about biotin, but am looking for a reliable source that has quality and delivers what it promises. There are a lot of other hair supplements, but I am confused and also do not want to spend too much money.

So that is my story. The search is still on. Hope my health, hair, periods, back pain, and slight depression gets lifted.

Ciao!

Hey, all you moms out there. I am trying lactic acid from makeupartistschoice.com. My skin is already smooth, and I can see pimples and dark spots begin to peel off. I am soooo excited. Regarding my hair, I got a new haircut, and m eyebrows threaded, not waxed. I look soooooooo much better now. Looking attractive really makes me feel happy, energized and beautiful. I have not started Inuwhatever labs yet. But stopping BCP has really helped me in avoiding breast pain.

So that is the latest from my side. Will update soon.
