big babies

So I went to the doc for my 20 week appt yesterday and to go over my ultrasound. I am measuring at 24 weeks and my baby boy is in the 90th percentile for weight!! Does anyone else have a big baby?

my babe was 19 inches when she was born n 5 weeks early. at 7.5 mo old she is just about out grown her baby car seat... -

Yes my son is in the 100 percent for hight and weight since he was 1 and is 3 now. Surpirisingly he was born a month early and weight 6 pounds, 7 oz but the doc said if he would of carried full term he would have been in the 9's he caught right up and is a big boy for his age. He has always worn one size bigger then his age. He just turned 3 in Feb, and is already wearing a size 5T. Good luck with yours. Our kids will just have to play sports. -

Oh I got a bigg Baby she was 3 weeks and 5 days early when she was taken by c-section and she weighted 8 pounds 13 ounces and she was 20 inches long . She will be 8 months in 4 days and she weighs 24 pounds and is 27 inches long . She wears 18-24 month clothes . She's got big legs and I think she's so chubby thats why she's not crawling just wants to stand and walk . -

oh ya hayls now is about 17 lbs and 28.5 inches long =O hard to find that girl clothes that fit right... -

When Shauna arrived 12 days late and by emergency c-section she weighed in at 10lb 7oz, all i can say was thank god i never had to push her out, don't even bair think about.
She drooped down alot when she was 6months old as she was diagnosed with dairy intolernce, her weight dropped down from the 95th centile to 25th, really scarry stuff back then. But thankfully she's picking back up and is now on the 75th centile and she's just turned 2. -

My son was born at 36-37 weeks and he was 8lbs 8oz!! -

both my girls were big 9lb 2oz &10lb 8oz both were over by a week and the first was a emrgancy c section so when i went over with the second i opted for an elective rather than do 24 hrs induced labour and end up in surgary again annyway kinda glad i did both are still well above avarage hight and weight mmy oldest just started school in a 6/7 year size uniform
i have no doubt the wee one will be the same
