Happy Thanksgiving!

Posted by HollyNRK - 11/26/08, 01:05 am
It felt weird even writing the word "Happy".  This is really a time for us to be thankful for what we DO have.  Many of us had the love of our Moms and while we miss them, their love is a precious gift.  We have each other.  Through the grief try to think of ways to give thanks for the little blessings that we do have...and give thanks in memory of our wonderful Moms.

600+ and still growing

Just want to say WELCOME to all the new member of this wonderful group. This group is the full of the most loving women you will ever know in your life. They are as close as a sister, or the girl you grew up wtih next door. They are understanding and educating as we teach each other new things every single day. We spend our days and nights together here, our hard times and good memories, and mostly our anniversaires. Anything you want to share it the floor is always open. So welcome to the group. We are glad you all have found us. We take good care of each other and let the legacies of our wonderful mothers live on through us.

It was one year ago this weekend that my Mom passed away.  It was a Friday night although the 19th this year falls on a Sunday.  My Mom was my best friend, my soul mate and the love of my life.   She inspires me still.  She is why Motherless Daughters is here because I knew I wasn't alone.  My heart is with all of you this weekend as we weather life without our wonderful Mothers.
