I know it is true because that is how I have booked 98% of the people for my talk show and how I met Justin Guarini from American Idol. I also had dinner with Bill Clinton when he was still President in 1999 because of a mutual friend and got the Oprah Angel Network award because of a connection I made. Also, I am a published author and I met my agent through another author when I had tried on numberous occassions to reach this agent only to be ignored until I was personally introduced. I really believe that this works...it's like networking on steroids.

Six Degrees of Separation?

There's a movie from a few years back called "Six Degrees of Separation." I never liked the movie much, but the central idea of the movie is interesting: Between any one person and any other person on the Earth, there are six other people who know of each other, and thus the two people are linked. So if Bob in Castleberry is trying to locate his friend Pete from his early childhood years who is currently living half-way around the world, he could theoretically talk to a bunch of people each of whom could speak to others and they in turn to some other folks, and eventually Pete would know that Bob has been asking about him.
Do you think that this is just a lot of nonsense that made some box office dollars, or do you think there's anything to it?

When a butterfly flaps its' wings in China, does that not help to move the air? -

I am pretty sure this is a part of the Mormon's beliefs. The difference being that if you go back 6 or so generations, you find that most people are related in a similar fashion. If I remember correctly, this is part of why they make geneology such an important part of their faith. They have a huge database.
