HALF BROTHER SOMEWHERE
Posted on 05/03/08, 08:16 pm
I have a half brother somewhere and I have tried to find him. I have a copy of his birth certificate and my dad's name is on it. I have had no luck in finding him. I know where and when he was born and his mother's name and of course his name but I have not had much luck. My parents were seperated when I was a little girl and they almost divorced, during that time my father dated and got pregnant another woman. I was not told of this until I was grown. I always think of him.

One method my living brother used was to contact many national adoption services. he also knew the hospital in the state/city of birth of our 1/2 brother. however, as i recall ... the records could not translate into an actual physical location. have you tried advertising (for nearly free?) in national publications? i have a friend in MySpace who has a huge site for locating lost siblings. if you wish i will provide the URL's here. -

Thank you Harry,
I have searched alot over the years and I finally left it up to God. If I am to find him it will happen. -

There are many sites you can google and pay a small fee to to find people, especially if you have their first, middle and last name. I have used this type of service twice and it worked both times. it might cost you $20 but if it helps find your brother it may be the best $20 you ever spent. -

I did that when I first started looking for him. I got tired of searching and had to give it a rest for awhile but I will start again.
Thank you, -

I am trying to locate my son who i volutarily gave up for adoption a long time ago.
He is now 18 years old and there is so very little i can do on my own and the agencies are not really even trying to look for him
