Trying to find him.

'Nuf said. How DOES one over 40 find true love? I'm out of ideas.

I don't even know where to even look. I have looked at online dating sites. Most of them seem to find people that I would never ever date. I don't think I am that picky or maybe mentally I am still hung up on stbx. -

Forgive me, AhHa, what is stbx?
I have looked online as well...it's a different venue, and I'm not quite sure that some of the people there really want what they say. It's like entertainment to them. It is mainstream now, but still a little creepy to me. But what else to try? -

I am just slightly under 40 but the way I found my current bf is through a friend. He is her brother in law...her husband's brother. She loves me and loves him and knew that we'd be perfect for one another. We became friends 5 months after my separation and started dating soon after right around the time of my divorce.
I would have only trusted my closest friends to set me up. They are the ones who knew what I had gone through with my x and were looking out for my best interests. One of the things that my friend told me was that my bf would treat me like a queen if we hit it off and would never hurt me if we didn't. -

I met him in DS. Just when I thought that LOVE will be impossible for me. He is wonderful,very smart, the most compassionate person that I ever met. Because of him I could endure all the pain that I was going through. He gave me the strenghts needed. I am so much in love with him :). So, my advise to you is "wish it" Love will find you. -

Let him find you..do things you love..hobbies,,get involve..in something you love doing..love is for everyone..but to find that special someone is the hard part..as someone toke me once..when you stop looking ...that when you will find it..as it is written dont be anxious for anything..have faith..God have someone for every one..be patient..and love yourself ..do good to yourself..
