VKH Vogt Koyanagi Harada syndrome is a systemic illness where by the immune system attacks pigment in the body causing inflammation in the eyes retinal detachment leading to possible blindness inflammation of the lining of the brain and spinal cord causing meningal headaches otherwise known as nonviral meningitis and encepholitis. This can lead to neurological damage. The way VKH effects the eyes is very like Uveitis inflammation in the eyes.
