Hmmm.... hard one to choose for me. Anne of Green Gables I would say for me. When I first read the book I was a ward of the state and I felt like Anne Shirley, I had a Bosom friend, just as Anne did in Diana. That was when I was 12. I came out of the system after I turned 18. I still talk to my bosom friend, we are still close. -

Cool...I would say mine is probably The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis. I read it a long time ago in grade school and loved it. I am getting ready to read it again.... -

The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. It's a children's book about friendship and giving and it still make sme cry. I can't wait to read it to my children. -

I like different varities of books, I, too, love anne of green gables and the lion, the witch and the wardrobe.. definately some of my fav. books. But at the moment I think I am fully into this book I have called Lesbian Bed Time Stories, people seem to think its all about sex, but its not, its short stories about lesbian lifestyle or just by a lesbian.. I think right now for me its about the connection of me to my people :) -

Hi ladies I know you might think ahhhhhhhhhhh but I love any thing that helps me grow and learn, I have just finished 'to soon old,to late smart' by Gordon Livingstone, unbelievably good, on the cover it say 30 things you need to know, it has opinions on things like 'any relationship is under the control of the one who cares the lest','the most secure prisons are the ones we construct ourselves', so you get the idea. -

my favorite book is .....i think....1984...by george orwell, because of the sense of paranoia it provokes and because the world orwell creates is an entirely possible and realistic one -

If you haven't seen my profile, I'm a "Dune" gal (Frank Herbert). Before I gave up some possessions, I even had the movies (I totally want to have Daniela Amavia's baby, just had to say that; I mean, hey a gal who has a job...come on). Nee-way, the stories got me through seminary because I found it echoed a lot of the introspection challenges I was facing becoming a minister. Plus I am floored and humbled by the intellectual prowess of FH.
