well.........this weekend I'm leaving for a string orchestra course in Cranford which is on the edge of London I think. Very exciting!!! Will be nice to play with other people again. Then I'm going to Devon straight from there, and then to Hastings for a bit- so I won't be back until 17th Aug. Busy busy! So you guys will have to suvive without me for a bit heehee :) how will you cope?!!

normally on a regular weekend I do LOTS of sleeping, tesco shopping, washing, prep stuff, watch a film, go to church, go to a choir rehearsal. That kinda thing. But thats during term time.

Well this weekend is a busy one for me. On Saturday I am going to a 21st it is a Austin Powers/Swinging 60's party. Then on Sunday I am going to be teaching Sunday school to the 3-6 year olds. I go to the Catholic Church. I do Sunday school once a month, there are 4 of us that teach Sunday school and we each have a turn once a month. Which is nice because we can also go and enjoy church. So it is my turn this Sunday. We also having a tea party after church because our priest is leaving.

Next Weekend is also a busy weekend for me too. I have arranged to have a Cake Sale for the Sunday School because we need to raise funds for Tables and chairs. So I am going to be doing a lot of baking on Saturday the 2rd. Then Sunday of course it the Cake Sale.

Musicblonde your weekend sounds like lots of fun. WOW a string orchestra course. Have a lovely time.

    Good Topic grEEnT Thank you.

Please tell us what you do over your weekends grEEnT.

Sounds like you all are so busy. Hope you get to take some time off for your self.
Lol at you Dezna. So ok, here are my plans.
Tomorrow I am going to be gone all day to NYC where I'll be doing recruting for the college I go to. I'll be speaking at a camp meeting.
Sunday I am going to spend the day playing racquet ball and swimming. So pretty much I'm going to be in a club. Should be fun.

That is interesting grEEnt that you are speaking at a camp meeting, what did you speak about? That also sounds like fun playing racquet ball and do some swimming, is it a warm pool? What a lovely weekend you are having.

I spoke about the college I go to. I pretty much promoted it by saying what majors we offer, what you can do to get it, the finances, etc. Kind of a boring stuff for some I suppose. lol.
The pool is warm. But even if it wasn't, I would have still liked it. I don't really mind cold water.

How did the party go Dezna?

So you don't mind if it is cold or warm water to swim in. Are you in summer in the UK at the moment.

The party was lots of fun. There was so many people dressed up in Austin Power stuff. But the funny thing that I saw was this guy who was wearing boots with the highest heels, and he was walking very well in them. I went up to him and ask him how he can walk with such high heels, well the answer he gave me was I always wear them so I am used to them. Well I thought ok then. He is gay so he loves that kind of stuff, I just found it very funny. He was also wearing pink tight pants. The only thing what I did not like was the speech which took so long a hour and a half, so we only got to eat at 9:30 in the evening. I hate eating late. We got home at 12 oclock in the evening.

Oh wow. A guy with high heels and pink pants. Kind of funny and sad at the same time. I don't know..

No, I don't mind either cold or warm water. As long as it isn't boiling or nearly frozen.
I am actually in the US, on the east coast.

Sorry I get so mix up with everyone all over the world. Sorry about that thinking that you were in the Uk, when you are in the US.

Yes it is sad to see a guy dressed like that. I feel sorry for him in a way, because he is the only child.

hmmm usually Saturdays I work most of the day...at least 6 or 7 hours of the day. so that's what keeps me busy then. Sunday, I kinda go with the flow of things since it's only one of my two days off during the week.

Welcome
