Hi, I am new here. I am so glad I found this group, I have a learning problem and it has not always been easy for me to talk about it. I was never accepted by my peers. I am glad that there are people out there with similar problem like mine.

Thanks Musicblonde, Thanks for welcoming me. My LD is spelling, But it is much better than it was when I was a child. What help me was to go and study. Today I spell a bit better than I did and also my reading has improved a lot, what I do struggle still with my pronunciation. I don't hear sounds very well.

I'm glad your spelling and reading has got better.......... these things really do come with practise probs! Everyone says that anyway :)

pronunciation is always hard....... espeshially when its something new you've never seen before coz all you can do is say it how its spelt! Don't worry about that tho- think quite a few people find that hard. Me too!

My spelling and reading has taken me a long time to get it where it is today, there are times that I still need to look up a word. But then I remember it the next time. But it is nice to know that there are other people in the same boat as me. So I am not alone anymore.

I see that you are studying the violion and you enjoy music. How many years does it take to study the violion, and you are at a college in Wales. I have been to wales it is a lovely place.

    Thanks musicblonde

heehee!!! you welcome dezna... its nice talking to people who have similar kinda problems! your right there! Its good that when you look something up you manage to remember it for the next time. So you'll get there slowly! Just takes patience.

I've been playing the violin since I was seven so for 12 years now. At first I was just learning it for fun and now its a bit more serious.....still find it difficult!!! I don't think you can ever really finish learning the violin theres soooo much to do. So its a challenge but kinda exciting!! I love wales too- and everyones really friendly. The weather is a bit rubbish but oh well :) They film doctor who there too which is amaazing- do you watch it? I saw Catherine Tate once- very exciting!

Well done with learning the violin, I think music is so nice to learn. I wish I had done it. I think you are so fantastic to have learn't this, you have really worked very hard. One can always go on learning and it does help a lot, I have studyed at lot and it has helped me so much. Keep on going with learning the violin you are doing a great job.

Yes I know your weather is cold, I felt it very much when I was traveling around. Do you mean the program Doctors, We used get it but don't anymore. We have a lots of other programs.

I think musics great too- think everyone should do it!!! Its a great way of cheering yourself up and forgetting about stuff, and loads of fun to do with other people! I hope I manage to keep making progress so I can teach people in the future :)

Doctor Who is a programme with David Tennant starring as the Doctor who travels round in an old blue Police men box called a tardis. He visits loads of other worlds in different times.......sounds a bit mad but I really love it! Espeshially when they use somewhere in cardiff and change it to look like it's in the future! Tis very funny! I've heard of Doctors too tho I've never seen it.
