If you tell the tattoo parlor you are on treatment for Hepatitis C, I believe the parlor will NOT tattoo you. Is it safe? I suppose so..as long as the parlor is clean and everything is sterile..but again..being HCV positive the tattoo parlor has the right to say no to tattooing you

GEE MISS JENNYJENNY, I WOULD LOVE TO TATTOO YOU !! MORNING COMPLIMENT SIS!! ANYWAYS, BEFOR ANYONE GETS A TATTOO, YA HAVE TO SIGN A WAVIER SHEET,ALLOWING YOURSELF TO BE TATTOOED, SECOND OF I WOULDNT RECOMEND GETTING A TATTOO WHILE ON TX, WHILE I WAS ON MY SECOND ROUND OF OF TX I GOT MY BACK DONE, AND IT WAS NO FUN AT ALL! AND I EAT PAIN LIKE CANDY TOO! SO COMING FROM A TATTOO ARTIST, I WOULDNT RECOMMEND IT, SECOND OF ALL ALL TATTOO CUSTOMERS ARE REQUIRED ( IN MOST STATES ) TO ANSWER A SET OF HEALTH QUESTIONS TOO! IE. SUCH AS HIV,HCV,DIABEDIC,ECT,ECT, ALTHOUGH SOME CUSTOMTERS "MAY" LIE ABOUT CERTAIN THINGS, THE ADVANTAGE I HAVE IS YA CANT LIE TO THE BIG GREEN DADDY CAUSE I'LL KNOW! CAUSE IM A WISE "MO-FO" LOL, LOVE YA ALL

Thanks tattman! I had a tattoo last year b4 I was diagnosed and it was my 8th tattoo. I could feel that something was wrong with my skin and 3 months later I was diagnosed with hep c. I got my hep c from being a dumb junkie not from tattooing. So it makes sense not to get one during treatment. My big 30 is coming up on Monday and i thought it would be a nice treat for myself. So after treatment it would be better to get a tattoo as a reward for my hard work? Yes. Thanks again

I wish I could! I was planning on two before I found out I had Hep C, so now it's been put on hold. I will have to wait until a year from July before it's considered safe... ~sigh~
