Head Aches

Hey ya'll,
I took my 2nd shot on friday.The first week was pretty rough.Alot of fatigue and a feeling of being full.This week is different.I have kept this ferocious headache for 4 days.It's been worse today than any day.I have been drinking my water.
My head hurts so bad.Does anyone else suffer from this side effect?Tylenol doesn't work.I'm not scheduled for my next hept. Doc until may 24.
I appreciate any feed back, as i just want this to freaking stop!!!

I have had this since 2000, or that's when I found out about it...I don't have anyway of taking care of this illness, as I take care of my disabled hubby! -

Honey I hope some experienced tx'er can tell you the magic cure. I am starting tx myself on May 6th and already have a problem with headaches. Any headache lasting 4 days, would scare the bejesus out of me. Call your doctors nurse tomorrow, or the support line number from the pharmaceutical company. In the meantime, this is what helps me, taking Excederine Migraine (contains caffeine), taking a hot shower & letting the water pluse down on my head & face for 10 minutes, sealing myself up in a dark & quite room with an ice gel pack on my head & one on my neck, slow and deep breathing. Get as much oxygen as you can & keep on chugging that h2O. Praying the headache Gila monster lets you go soon. If you find something that works, let me know cause I am afraid the headache Gila monster will be visiting me soon when I start tx. In the meantime, I will do the "make it freaking stop" dance for you. Hugs Jeannie -

I got headaches during all my treatments, Lots of water no-tylenol, Staright up pain pills from the doc or he would of got a shinner too! LOL Im happy to say I dont get em any more -

If there is one thing that I can not handle it is headsches and I mean it...I can handle alot of pain but I am a wimp when it comes to headaches...I am praying for your pain friend...Pam -

Pain pills sound right to me....if i can just hang in there til 24 may, Tattman.I think I'll just call my Doc.Somethings got to give here :) thanks guys, I appreciate it. -

Whose medicine are you doing? When I did treatmnet I would call and ask for help.
Good luck on the pain pill thing..Tattman may 'bully' his doc into it..I don't suggest pain pills. Celery works for a quick fix..for every side effect there is a way to get around it w/o PAIN MEDS

Bayla, now that you mention it, I do remember that celery does help. It also helps you sleep.
I have a juicer and I would juice a couple stalks of celery, parsley and tomatoes...knock me right out. No headaches either.
Thanks...I needed that reminder.
Was it parsley?...I could be wrong. I've put the juicer up because it's just entirely too much work cleaning up. Maybe I'll get it back out and start juicing again.
And the carrot theory is very true! My eyes can be givin' me fits...I can juice about 5 carrots and one apple in the morning for a couple of days and my eyes DO get better.
Ok, got to go shoppin' for kelp and vegs. Then I've got to go find the juicer. That's gonna take all day. -

Well....doc gave me vicodin...60 with 2 refills.They help :)
