GRRRRRRRR, NOW MY HAIR

I GOT THREW THE FEVER, CHILLS, BEING COLD,ACHE'S AN PAIN, THE REALLY BAD COUGH, NOW MY HAIR I'M LOSING,GRRRRRRRRRRRRR, OK SO HOW MUCH WILL I LOSE AND HOW LONG WILL THIS GO ON.......

I know what your talking about. I used to be pretty vain but as of today I'm just humble. I lost about 20 percent of my hair, but keep in mind that is me and not you. This whole tx sucks, but do your best to get thru it as best you can. Hair grows back and I hear even better than before. I've been off tx and meds since April 3rd and my hair is still falling out but not as bad as it was. Good luck and just be nice to it, no pulling or harsh chemicals. Good luck, and try and stay positive!!! -

scgirl yes that is one of the side effect, the tx is a cancer treatment if i'm not mistaken, keep that in mind hon -

You don't always lose your hair. Just like some people lose their appetite and some people don't, and all the other side effects that some get and some don't. They call them "possible" side effects after all!
That said, I went through a period with a scalp condition, where pieces of scalp and strands of hair would fall off. Now that phase seems to be passed, and my scalp is healing, and I don't seem to be losing any more hair (knocks on wood)...
You bring up a good point, Kountryliven, with asking how long will this go on...I have heard the sides can last after treatment, although of course the medicine company tells you "these go away when treatment is complete." SO who knows! -

sometimes you lose some hair and it is very scary I know...I lost some hair on tx but not to much and I guess everyone is different...Not to worry to much cuz it will grow back beautifully...Pam -

My avatar is day one just before shot #1. Enjoyed the day and savored feeling GOOD. Very soon I will post a new pic of what my hair looks like now. Funny thing, haven't had the energy to CARE if I had hair! LOL! The hair will grow back.... -

Just so you all know, I have seen Katstoy52 hair over 10 yrs ago, when we worked together!! It was bad then and its bad now??? LOL,LOL,LOL.. Sorry my sister I just couldnt resits that one! You know I love you !! Hey everybody your hair grows back better than before!!!!! I know Ive lost my hair during 3 treatments, !! Didnt help my looks any!! LOL,LOL, Love ya all -

look at my pics..my hair is very thick and came out when I did treatmnet by the handfuls..its now 2.5 years later and it grew in thicker and curlier than before....brush as little a day as you can handle.do NOT dye your hair..and if you CHOSE to..then ok..but it will add to the hair loss. I let mine grow out..UGH..covered my 'grey' with a ball cap.
