Yes, in times of trouble it is very hard to have faith, I know I have cried and begged God for answers to things, and even though my prayers don't always get answered the way I think they should, they always do end up getting answered. And sometimes we just have to accept certain things and know that ultimately its for our own good, God always has something in mind for us, something to learn. -

I really truly believe that God doesn't give us more than what we can handle. Even though it does seem overwhelming at times, but it seems to work out in the end. Just have faith...Dina -

The wonderful thing about the mustard seed parable is that, its not a matter of saying that little faith is of itself desirable, its a matter of the potential, when we tend to that seed of faith, watering it with His word, plucking out the weeds by the power of the Spirit and the renewing of our minds (thinking)... that the smallest of seeds has within it the potential to grow into one of the largest of trees, and that as our faith grows into the mustard tree, others can come and take shelter and nourishment from within its branches... our full grown faith will be a fortress that will benefit others for Gods purposes. The seed is a gift from God, and like any seed, it must be planted on fertile ground to take root. Some seeds fall on rocky ground and burn up with the heat of the sun... so it is our responsibility to till the field of our hearts, that it might be fertile ground in which that seed can grow to fruition. And remembering, too, that within this metaphor of gardening, fertilizer can often be in the form of the "poop" in our lives... So next time you feel like someone has thrown a wad of "poop" at you... do your best to use it to fertilize your garden.
We all, I believe, have to ask for Him to increase the measure of our faith, knowing that our very faith is a gift of His grace. And as the world tests our faith, we have to receive more of His grace, and not judge ourselves harshly for having been challenged or feeling like we lost something. I think sometimes we judge ourselves as if we have somehow failed when our faith waivers. Its important to realize that it is just a reminder to keep pressing in, and to not live by how we FEEL... but by what we KNOW. His word is truth. How we feel about it is irrelevant... its what we DO about it that matters. Where thoughts go, energy flows. Think on Him and keep His word in your mouth. -

Is to see how everyone describes their faith in whatever it may be. Maybe our faith can be a vessel for so many...
