Well it looks like we have the boards to ourselves for several days. I made a pair of earings once with green stone like beads ($4.50) each. Just two, the other two per earing were cheaper. I gave them to my girlfriend and some guy who;s wife does "fine" jewelry said that her earings were blah blah blah gems. Of courde when I went back to buy more they were allgone!!! What other stuff do you ddo> What kinfd of earings do you do?

Yeah, I've ran into those "fine" jewelry people who think everything has to be precious and I think whaaa... LOL. If everyone only wore "fine" jewelry, then there wouldn't be racks of "fashion" jewelry in all the stores.

I make whatever I feel like, sometimes with the good crystals, real pearls, gemstones, sterling silver, etc, and I've done some custom bridal sets. Sometimes I make fun earrings, cute little dangles with surgical steel earwires and czech glass beads, only cost me a few pennies to make. My dad takes a rack full of those to the flea market, sells them for a dollar a pair.

I wonder what type of beads those were, at 4.50 each. Emerald? Jade? Serpentine?

I like to make and wear "duets" for double pierced ears... two pairs that are simular, made to wear together. Usually one pair long (sometimes ear threads) and a smaller pair for the back holes.

Welcome
