I enjoy doing many things. But when I suffered from depression I could only knit. So I knitted everyone scarves with cool yarn. That soon died away and I am looking to get into my ceramics now that I am feeling better. My head is still in a cloud on many days. I have grandkids and i get a chance to do some other crafts that is fun. Latest is Perler Bead crafts. I like making the magnets they have in the idea books. Before I crashed with this depression, sewing was my passion. I just can't get into it anymore. Also loved beading. It can be so meditating. Doing a piece like a mat and using the peyote stitch. Just don't have any creative uses for the work. I like taking photos and have worked on my genealogy to pass time away. I seem to have more than one hobby as you can see but I tire of one and then feel like doing another. When all else fails I love watching my DVD's-movies. -

I am originally from Michgan and grew up near the lake. I moved to Colorado when I was 21. I like crafts of all kinds. I started doing crafts in elementary school. I took some tole painting classes in 5th grade and started painting. Mt first project was a sign for a guy that my Dad worked with. It had his family's name and animals on it and even better I was paid for it. I loved art class in high school. It wasn't a blowoff class like some might think. Our teacher expected you to give your best effort on every project and this was reflected in your grade. My favorite in high school was working with clay. As an adult I learned to knit and make jewelry with my oldest sister. My favorite right now is jewelry making. I share my crafts with my kids because it's something that everyone can enjoy. It's something they can carry on and pass down to their kids. We have bins and bins of craft supplies. It is taking over our office. I'm glad I have an understanding husband. Thanks for reading. Sorry it's so long. Have a great evening!
