Have you heard of this family? They do specials on the Discovery Health channel. Its a family that has 17 kids and they just announced today that the woman is pregnant with number 18!! I loved every moment of being pregnant but wouldn't want to be pregnant 18 times!!

lol, that is one crazy lady!!! i suppose if i could afford it i'd love to have as many as i could..18 though is a stretch. i always joke that that woman has probably had her period like 10 times since she was in high school, lucky!!! ( : i do wonder too if the kids are angry or jealous deep down inside because i just can't imagine how you could be as close with each child when there are that many, but amen to her for doing it! -

I've seen some shows about them and also heard she was pg again! I'd worry that you wouldn't really KNOW your children if you had so many - I'm sure you would love them, but how could you give each one of them personal attention? My mom has 9 brothers/sisters, and that's A LOT, especially at the holidays, but this family's going to have double that! Wow! -

Yeah I come from a family of 6 and I thought THAT was a big family!! But 18 kids?! I do think those children are cheated out of a little in the deal. -

I watched that this morning and she does schedule private time with each child , they actually showed the schedule . I would love to have a big family . I think at this point she has alot of help , the older kids do alot in raising the younger ones . God Bless them . -

I am happy for them. While having 18 kids would not be for me, they are a happy family and the children are well cared for. My Father-in-law is the oldest of 12 kids. He was in the military when his two youngest sisters were toddlers. He missed them growing up and didn't know them very well. Now they have a relationship, but those two are not the ones he is closest to in the family. It is a blast going back to Wisconsin to visit that part of the family. There are many benefits to having a large family. -

Screw that! poor kids - they have to suffer and make appointments for mother's attention~ -

I can't but help thinking of the ladies who have had multiple m/c's. Imagine what they are feeling when they hear that this lady announces another pregnancy. My heart goes out to them.
