DREAMS???

Posted on 08/07/08, 11:09 am
Do you believe that God uses dreams to speak to His children?
If so, does anyone want to take a guess what this one may mean?
The dream was very breif. 'A man driving his vehicle and suddenly a large, blood red, concreate slab as high as his hood, and wide as his vehicle suddly appears a couple feet in front of him. He hits it and everything goes black.' End of dream.

Acts 2: 17" 'In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams. NIV
Your dreams are influenced by your activity and can pick up on the slightest thing. Everything in the dream comes from you. Not the cosmos. You are the other car, concrete slab etc. You are everything in your dream. If this is a recurring dream let me know.

some times I think god gives us dreams....but also some of it is self concious....we put on our self...maybe something we watched on tv or read or heard about....I get some real weird dreams sometimes....but they are not all from god....
sounds like there is a maybe fear of something coming at you....when you are driving....that can be scary....hugs

I believe in God giving us dreams,I think you know the difference between dreams from God and ones that are in our mind when we go to sleep.

I believe that God at times does speak to us through dreams. I also believe that all dreams do not come from God. Discerning the difference can be difficult. Often a reoccuring dream invoving a certain person that you know is from God.

Yes not all dreams are from God! God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7)!

God does still speak through dreams, I believe. But sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar.

I definatly believe that God speaks to us in our dreams. It's the only time He can get us when we aren't doing something or working, and so on. I also believe we influence our dreams with the days events or something we are worried about. The key is determining which dream is from God and which we are influencing. This has always been a problem for me. I get mini dreams somtimes and I pray for guidence. But, like shamgaranath said sometimes a cigar is just that a cigar. Pray for clarity. God Bless

God certainly can speak to us in anyway He choses to we have to be discerning and know when it is from God.
What goes in the eye stays in the head this is why we are told to be careful what we view.God Bless

I believe God speaks to us. in man ways.. If this is a dream of fear... I would certainly pray on it and ask the holy spirit to to be with you. If this is bothering you, the holy spirit will give you clarity. Also remember the devil can disguise himself. I say not to own that fear. If you want to know more, seek your quiet space and again ask for clarity. Just pray. you will KNOW and FEEL..the presence of the holy spirit..and when you do..all will be shown and you will know how to respond.

Until then.. Peace 2 you. :O)
