GRASSHOPPERS

HOW DO U KEEP THEM AWAY FROM UR VEGETABLE GARDEN N' FLOWERS ??

    I had the kids do a "catch & release" program with lizards caught elsewhere being transplanted to the garden.

    I CATCH & RELEASE THEM LIKE 200 METERS AWAY FROM MY HOUSE, I'M STARTING C 2 LESS OF THEM...THEY R CUTE, BUT THEY EAT MY PLANTS N' MESS UP MY VEGGIES :)

    Lizards I leave alone but those huge black grasshopper get my foot. They will invade and eat your plants so fast. I think that I have the population under control. I am thinking that this type grasshopper might lay its egg in the ground. Am planning on looking on the web to see. The reg little brown grasshopper do not seem to pose too much of a problem where I live.

    I don't see black grasshoppers other than tiny crickets. We get a few giant green grasshoppers here. Haven't had any problems. I am sorry no help here.
