QA testing

I know that being a game tester is more a first step into the industry, but I would really love to have it as a part-time job. I really don't know how to go about finding a legitimate opening. Can you believe that one of the first results on Google is "Get the degree you need to be a game tester" !!! Does anyone who has explored this have any suggestions?

  read 'edge' magazine, they normally have trade jobs in the back.
  Apart from that, I havnt got a clue

  Thanks. It would be great to avoid all the scams, because there seem to be more out there than legitimate jobs.
