  Elite was awesome, manual docking was a REAL test of skill.
  i loved Frontier: Elite 2 as well, as bugged as it was, it was a top game!

  shame they stopped making games like that :( ...privateer series were the nails in the coffin, too small a universe and no manual docking :(

  Theyd claim they wouldnt be able to do it, citing some pathetic reason as ti why it wouldnt work properly
  
  I just played Civilisation Revolutions and I cant understand how the psone had a perfect port but the 360 version goes back to playschool with simplicity

  lot to do with profit ratios too - much more profit in taking an existing game engine and putting new graphics and levels on it than in making a completely new engine :/

  huh? - there's like a hundred games just like that out there...lol.. when it comes to that style of games, 'total annhilation' was a lot better than cnc.

  i like the c&c series but they never translate well to a control pad.
