prenatal classes are a big help on telling you all the pro's of breastfeeding. its the healthiest thing for yor baby, and you could pump so that you can have go out, take a rest, or bottle feed the pumped milk in front of people if you're uncomfortable about breastfeeding in public.
newborns need to eat every 2-3 hours, breast or bottle, and breastfeeding's alot easier than taking all that time to sterilize bottles an prepare formula.
breastmilk is easier for the baby to digest than formula, so you won't have to deal with extra gas, spit up, constipation, and all the fussiness that goes with it. also, his poops wont be as gross.
its soothing for your baby to be close to you, and after feeding you can hold him at your chest till he falls into a deep sleep (which doesnt take very long) and put him in his crib or bassinet no fuss!
your baby will probably not develop jaundice.
you won't have to buy formula, which is gonna cost about $2000 in the first year!! (my mom formula fed my little bro)
So breastfeeding takes less time, less money, and less tears (for baby and you) than bottlefeeding. try it, if you really hate it, swap to bottles.
its not gross, that's what boobies are for, not just to sit there looking pretty all day! :)
p.s. breastfeeding burns 500 calories a day and it makes your uterus shrink back to its old self faster. yay, skinny pants!!

I am conflicted and undecided about breastfeeding. I have read about all the benefits and my boyfriend would perfer that i do it for at least 4 weeks. But i don't think i will be able to it. Something about it i find disgusting. I want the best for my baby and I want to respect my boyfriend but every 2-3 hrs and I will be the only one who can feed it. Not my boyfriend at 3am. I wouldn't be able to leave my baby w/ any one like if I wanted to go t othe store. And if I do decide to do it I will neever do it in public or infront of family.
Has anyone else thought about brestfeeding? How did youi come to your decsion?
