No Maternity Leave

I have a little over two more months before my due date and I recently found out that my job doesn't pay into maternity leave for employees that work half-time, which has caught me by surprise since I expected all jobs to pay into some type of program for pregnant women. Lately I have been working my butt off so I can pay off all my bills for the 6 weeks I plan on being off. Do anyone know of any alternative programs for pregnant women who job doesn't pay into maternity leave?

  In TN they have a families first program through TennCare. I don't know about other states though. Check with your local DHS.

  Ive heard of a program called Temporary Assistance For a Needy Family (TANF), Im not sure what they will help with but you could check into it thru DHS.
