Getting Bored now...

It seems like all the good stuff about being preganat, like getting gifts, going shopping, and redecorating, only happen at the end. What am I suppose to do now to keep myself busy or excited about this baby? I am always tired my appetite is going hay wire and fighting morning sickness is not fun at all. Although the sex has been extremely good for some reason. But it really takes a lot to get in the mood.

Any suggestions on some fun stuff I could do to get into mommy/ baby mode?

  You'd be surprise how others excitement can encourage your own. If you let other people know you're pregnant, even strangers, they'll probably chat you up about it and you may even start to share their enthusiasm.

  Tell other people? No thanks. I don't want people treating me different like I have a life threating illness or something. i want to be the same me! But thanks for the advice... Git any more?

  What kind of got me excited/ in the the baby mood was learning everything I could. I got a whole bunch of baby books, like what to expect and all that, and just tried to absorb as much as I could. The whole process of baby making is actually really fascinating! My mom got me these really cool books from the library, it's actual pictures of how a fetus develops in the uterus, from basically conception to birth. (Dont ask me how they got the pictures) And there's videos too. I dunno if that's really your thing, but I thought it was really cool. I also signed up for some pregnancy email lists, and I really look forward to getting one every week. It's like week 20, week 21, etc and it tells you about whats going on with the baby, different things it can do that week, different organs that are developing, all that! Just give it a try you might be surprised.

  im in my 24th week and am soooo bored! I dont know the sex, so cant go shopping for baby clothes and I have already brought everything else. Im glad im not the only one who is thinking like this
